For the 10th Anniversary of Dora the Explorer on Nickelodeon, the network launched the "Beyond the Backpack" campaign. The campaign aimed to sell 12 unique backpacks that were designed by Heidi Klum, Jessica Alba and Salma Hayek. The bags will be auctioned for Children’s Defense Fund. Celebrity Uma Thurman teamed up with Saks Fifth Avenue and Donna Karan to help fight the breast cancer. She will be featured in print ads and national public service announcement wearing a limited-edition T-shirt created by Donna Karan. All of the proceeds will be donated to local partner charities.
