Marc Jacobs in Time Magazine World's Most Influential People

Marc Jacobs was named as one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time Magazine. When I checked the Time Magazine's website, I was surprised by the story written by Victoria Beckham for her friend, Marc Jacobs. Victoria praised Marc Jacobs for the changes he had made with each of his collection. Marc Jacobs must be very proud because he is the only fashion designed that was included in the list.

Meanwhile, some artists and entertainers like Lady Gaga, Robert Pattinson, Sandra Bullock and Glee‘s Lea Michele were also featured on Time‘s list.

Fashion Designers Transformed To Disney Characters In Elle Spain April 2010

Elle Spain April 2010 featured a series of drawings of Disney cartoon characters that represents some of world's famous fashion designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Donatella Versace, Jean Paul Gaultier, Marc Jacobs, Sonia and Nathalie Rykiel, Alber Elbez, Dolce and Gabbana, and John Galliano.

During 13th Annual ACE Awards, she wore headgear that hides her face.
Lady GaGa sported a jacket made completely of Kermit the Frog dolls while interviewing for a German television.

She wore a black and white laser cut Marchesa spring 2010 strapless gown at the American Music Awards that looks like a paper dress.
Rihanna also chose the Viktor & Rolf tuxedo with oversized sleeves and shoulders for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute Ball.

She definite loves skyscraper heels! During the American Music Awards last November, she donned a crystal encrusted sandals with towering wooden platforms.

Miss Piggy's Visit to Marc Jacobs

Miss Piggy visited Marc Jacobs at his SoHo Studio where she was able to have a glimpse of the designer's collection for the upcoming New York Fashion Week. Although there's no confirmation about Miss Piggy's appearance on the upcoming show, reports confirmed that she will wear one of Marc Jacobs' couture gown on Glamorama event.

Marc Jacobs' "Weird' Ads Saga Continues

For the past ads that have been released by Marc Jacobs, which were also photographed by Juergen Teller, I observed only one thing. They are all weird.

First they put Victoria Beckham in a bag who did some robotic poses then they also dressed up a male model (Cole Mohr) in dresses and coats from the female collection.

Now, two models namely Stella Tennant and Kirsten Owen posed with bags on their heads on top of "star dust". In addition a naked old man posed in female coat while mannequin children.
